Youth talk Online
Youth Talk Online was launched during a unique moment in global and local history—at a time when people were physically apart due to pandemic lockdowns, but more eager than ever to connect and reflect. As an entirely virtual initiative by Alfariq Association, the program featured Instagram Live conversations with guest speakers, professionals, and changemakers, focusing on themes relevant to youth, community life, and resilience during uncertain times. Over five engaging sessions, Youth Talk Online created a safe, interactive space for open dialogue, authentic storytelling, and shared wisdom.

Format and Topics
Each session of Youth Talk Online revolved around a central theme, approached from a youth-centered perspective. Topics included: “How can I manage my time during lockdown?”, “Is distance learning really possible in Morocco?”, and “La Startup à la Marocaine”—a discussion about youth entrepreneurship. Some sessions took on a more emotional and narrative tone, with storytelling formats where guests shared life-changing experiences, challenges, and lessons. These intimate conversations offered not only insight, but also inspiration and a sense of solidarity during a difficult collective moment.
From Live to Legacy: The Podcast Extension
To preserve and amplify the impact of these conversations, Alfariq transformed the recorded Instagram Lives into podcast episodes, now available on the association’s official SoundCloud channel. This extension allowed more youth to access the knowledge, experiences, and motivation shared during the lives, at any time and from anywhere. Youth Talk Online is a testament to Alfariq’s adaptability and commitment to creating relevant, creative spaces for youth dialogue—even in times of crisis. It showed that meaningful conversations can flourish online, and that connection can always be reimagined.
