Child leader

Child Leader is a pioneering initiative by Alfariq Association, and one of the first programs in Morocco and the Arab world dedicated to developing leadership and life skills among children under 16. This unique program introduces children to self-development, entrepreneurship, and teamwork in an interactive and age-appropriate way. Through playful yet purposeful activities, the program helps children build confidence, discover their strengths, and take their first steps as active participants in their communities. Whether it takes place in the heart of a village or within the welcoming walls of MadressatCom in Tarmigt, the program is carefully adapted to create a positive and inspiring learning environment for every child involved.

A Creative and Practical Learning Journey

At the heart of Child Leader is a creative and participatory approach to learning. Children are engaged through a variety of formats such as workshops, storytelling, games, team challenges, and theater. They explore concepts like communication, critical thinking, leadership, project building, and social intelligence—while being encouraged to express themselves, take initiative, and work collaboratively. Sessions often include real-world role play, like mock businesses or debates, and artistic activities to help children channel their creativity and ideas. All of this is done under the guidance of dedicated facilitators, educators, and mentors who believe in the power of early leadership development and who help children connect their experiences to real-life skills.

Planting the Seeds of Leadership Early On

Child Leader is more than a program—it's a space where children learn that their voices matter and that they have the ability to shape their world. Through every edition, the program reinforces the idea that leadership begins with curiosity, kindness, responsibility, and a willingness to act. Whether it’s standing in front of their peers to speak, proposing solutions to problems in their neighborhoods, or simply learning how to collaborate with others, children leave the program with a deeper sense of purpose and belonging. Alfariq believes that when children are treated as capable thinkers and creators, they rise to the occasion—and Child Leader proves that leadership, when nurtured early, can grow into lifelong impact.
